More Poop Puke and Other Nasty Messes

VIEWER DISCRESION IS ADVISED
(This is some seriously gross stuff!)

So, the messy drama continues in my home. You know, before I was a mom I always thought the grossest things kids did were to pick their nose and eat it. I quickly discovered that is not the case. Children have so many more creative ways to make parents gag.

I did manage to get Spencer to stop poop-painting. Just so you know, throwing them into a cold shower immediately and calmly explaining that we don't touch our poop or put our hands in our pants works like a charm. Don't feel guilty and make the water warm, even at the end. It just won't work if you do.

Unfortunately, Spencer has traded his poop-painting for log-dropping. The first was on the kitchen floor which, Gracie our dog, quickly took care of for me. The second in front of the bathroom toilet. I am sure many of you are thinking that if he can do that he can be potty trained. Well, if you feel that way then I have a spare room for you. Be my guest.

Tonight Isabelle didn't feel well so she vomited into the bathroom sink. Apparently, Maddy was on the pot at the time. I was alerted to the situation when I heard Juju gagging. The sink, of course, was clogged and filled with the remainder of Is' lunch. She had quite a bit of grapes and fritos today. Yes, it was quite fragrant.

These latest events have led to me contemplating what my worst goss-out moments as a mom are, and what all of yours are as well. Feel free to comment on your own experiences! I don't know about you all, but it makes me feel better! Here are mine from the least disgusting to the most:

  1. Watching my baby eat everything she could find on the floor-including dead flies
  2. Finding my two-year-old drinking out of the toilet-unflushed
  3. Being vomited on by every one of my kids-some times several times a day-at three and four years old
  4. Finding that four kids have pooped into the toilet without flushing
  5. My potty trained three-year-old suddenly smearing poop all over
  6. My two-year-old eating dog poop outside
  7. My un-potty trained 21 month-old smearing poop on a daily basis for a couple of months
  8. My nine-year-old barfing in the bathroom sink and me having to bail and unclog it
  9. My seven-year-old rubbing her hand in her crack then making everone smell it
  10. My 21 month-old pooping on the kitchen floor and watching as our dog licks it up
